摘要

糖尿病血管病变是常见的糖尿病并发症之一，可危及全身各个器官，是糖尿病患者死亡的重要原因。目前常规治疗手段对严重的糖尿病血管病变的效果有限。血管平滑肌细胞（VSMC）在糖尿病血管病变的进程中发挥重要作用，因此，通过调控 VSMC 来逆转糖尿病血管病变有广泛的应用前景。笔者就VSMC 的生物学特征及其在糖尿病中的表型转换特点与 VSMC 调控应用于糖尿病的治疗策略进行综述。

Abstract

Diabetic vascular disease is one of the common complications of diabetes, which can endanger all body organs, and is an important cause of death in patients with diabetes. Current conventional treatment methods have limited eff ects on severe diabetic vascular disease. Vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) play a key role in the progression of diabetic vascular disease. Th erefore, the regulation of VSMCs may have broad application prospects for reversing the diabetic vascular lesion. Here, the authors address the biological characteristics of VSMCs and their phenotypic conversion features in diabetes, as well as the therapeutic strategies of regulation of VSMCs for diabetic vascular disease.
