抑癌因子miRNA-7（miR-7）在肿瘤组织发生中表达下降，但机制未明。最近发现环状RNA-7（ciRS-7）具有miR-7 海绵样吸附作用，从而抑制miR-7 的功能，该发现为探索miR-7 在肿瘤中表达降低的原因开辟了新的途径。目前认为ciRS-7/miR-7 轴不仅具有重要的生物学作用，同时参与机体多种疾病的发生发展。笔者就ciRS-7/miR-7 轴调控肿瘤生长转移的研究进展进行综述。
Regulative role of ciRS-7/miR-7 axis in tumor growth and metastasis: recent advances
Tumor suppressor miRNA-7 (miR-7) is found down-regulated in cancer tissues, but the underlying mechanism remains elusive. Recent studies demonstrated that circular RNA-7 (ciRS-7) acts as a sponge for miR-7 and thus can inhibit the miRNA-7 activity. This finding provided a new perspective for revealing the mechanisms of decreased expression of miR-7 in tumors. It is now believed that the ciRS-7/miR-7 axis not only has important biological functions, but participates in the occurrence and development of a range of diseases. Here, the authors present the research progress in ciRS-7/miR-7 axis regulating tumor growth and metastasis.
